Some things come easy to some people and for others, the path is littered with pitfalls and painful experiences. So it was with the picture-perfect couple Ajith and Shalini. Their dream of becoming parents was fulfilled early this year with the birth of their beloved daughter, Anoushka, who has naturally turned out to be the apple of her father's eye.
Since making her first public appearance at an arangetram in one of the city's dance auditoriums, she's been the centre of attraction for every shutterbug in town. Cuddled in her father's arms, she was the cynosure of all eyes. Next was the little princess' appearance at Diya's (Suriya's and Jyothika' daughter) first birthday celebrations, where she wowed one and all with her dainty ways and cheerful demeanour. A true star in the making!
For a couple who never bothered about being seen in public, they are now seen almost everywhere, with baby Anoushka firmly cradled in daddy Ajith's arms. Sources say that he never puts his beloved child down and is always with her whenever he's home. Quite the New-Age Dad!
